18/4/12 'Heaven is a place on Earth'
My daughter Kerry & her partner James running Pip & Jake at the weekend.
"Riders on the storm" - The Doors
Taken just after my shot yesterday looking westward from nearby Claxby radar. I decided on the title when my imagination took hold of the cloud top right!
Thanks for the comments on my shots yesterday, very sorry I've not been able to view & comment as frequently this last week, it's been something of a challenge.

If you prefer something less ominous I got out in my garden first thing this morning see http://smu.gs/HHwaKQ
13/4/12 'Tracks across my heart'
The heart in question here is the wobderful Lincolnshire wolds. At this time of year the landscape becomes a yellow patchwork of rapeseed fields.

Another dull day!
12/3/12 "Behind closed doors" Charlie Rich/ Kenny O'Dell
These Hangar doors would have been my "green door" shot but for the magnificent reflection of the setting sun. Steeped in history RAF Binbrook was one of the locations used in the making of the epic film 'Memphis Belle'. See - http://www.airsceneuk.org.uk/oldstuff/belle/belle.htm

7/3/12 'One moment in time' - Whitney Houston
A sequel image to http://smu.gs/ylRbuB
5/3/12 'Sheep may safely graze' Bach

The spire of St Mary's Church, Hainton looks across the vale toward Sixhills. A very mild beginning to March in the Lincolnshire wolds taken as I walked across from Sixhills. I love the almost monochrome effect when looking towards the sun at it and the mistiness bleach out the colours. Thank you for the wonderful comments on yesterday's image of the calves wet noses ;-)
5/3/12 'Invitation to peek', Mill Platt Farm, Sixhills (see http://smu.gs/yfQpFt)

Firstly, may I say a huge thank you for the privilege of attaining a #1 image yesterday my rooster shot, I'm over the moon!
Betty's garden wall has just this one door, normally closed. The wall is full of character, indeed some of the plants have featured in previous posts. http://smu.gs/A1bfuB The pillar box red paint indicates the farmstead along with most properties in the area are steeped in 500+ years of Heneage estate history.
