18/4/12 'Bluebell Dell'
16/4/12 'Belle of the Ball'

A wonderful walk through the Bluebell woods at Beesby in the Lincolnshire wolds. So nice to see the wood anenomes still out with the bluebells just starting to make their show.
14/4/12 "Promise Me"

Taken this morning whilst I was still in my bath robe waiting for the kettle to boil. These beautiful tulips had solace of the frosty night air softening their unfurling petals.
My choice of title recognises that as the sun warms this beauty today a symphony of yellows will erupt from within.

26/3/12 "A host of golden daffodils…" W. Wordsworth

Over the last week I've put all my attentions into my 1950's musical "Never had it so good!" Yesterday our show went well and had the addition of a few unscripted comic moments! A super after-show party with speeches, flowers & a keen interest to put the show on in our locality through the summer. Before I realised it was 7pm and time to head home, these gorgeous roadside daffodils caught my eye as the evening sunshine illuminated them. The weather is wonderful today so I think a well earned trip to the beach with Pip is on the cards, thanks to everyone who supported the show in attendance or in spirit.
8/11/11 -Bracken boughs out -
See where this was here - http://smu.gs/uWjWqC
On my Sunday morning walk collecting colours & textures this bracken frond just stood out at me. The morning moisture reflective the cool light over its greens, yellows & browns. (Good for a jigsaw?)
13/10/11 'On many levels'

Another dull, mizzly day so a play with colour & white balance levels in aperture.(sooc here http://smu.gs/q6z12Z)
Display at St Olave's Ruckland my first attempt at creating an Orton effect in Aperture

22/05/11 'Comfort zone' - my view without spectacles or contact lenses. Another shot from the Kenwick nursery, I used a slow shutter speed and in processing dropped the contrast and clarity in 'Camera RAW' and that was all it needed
