I'd like to share this with you, my photo journal. Each day I'll post an image capturing something I've seen worthy of record. Showing to the World wide web, perhaps even printing to hang on a wall or be used commercially (wishful thinking). Some days I'll draw on shots taken then edited and get creative, others will be straight out of the camera (sooc) If you like what you see please press the green thumb or leave a comment, maybe a suggestion how an image might be improved. You can now purchase prints, merchandise, downloads etc. For further information contact me phil@philnix.me. Thank you for looking PJN.

12/4/12 'The Spirit of Ecstay'
Couldn't resist taking this shot in the pub car park after an evening stroll with Pip cut short by heavy showers. Very busy this week so not able to be at the computer much. Hope to catch up with all the communities imagies at the weekend.
11/412 'Another brick in the wall"- Pink Floyd
Saw this wall in Nettleton the other day and it just had to be the subject of a photo. Rather busy this week so sorry to those whose fabulous images I haven't managed to comment on.
10/4/12 "Just around the river bend"

Another image from my whistle-stop visit to Hebden Bridge. See http://youtu.be/4DE5a80I8EU for this uplifting song from Walt Disney's Pocahontas
9/4/12 "Down by the riverside"
9/4/12 "Cruising down the river"
Chuggers heading down the Witham for the Easter weekend.
8/4/12 'Risen' - Happy Easter
Taken on Good Friday looking through an empty barn and the window to a rapeseed field. I think the symbolism in this image is very powerful in so many ways with both religious and personal significance.
7/4/12 'B-29' at Duxford 1980's slide taken with OM-10.

6/4/12 'The Iron Lady' - Lady Elizabeth taken April 1985
It's interesting to google this shipwreck and find it listed as a 'must see' whilst on vacation!
This is part of my project to convert my small 1980's slide collection. Click the 'Map this' button to see the location of this shot.
6/4/12 Good Friday Special.
"There is a green hill, faraway" - or 'How to link Penguins to the Easter Celebrations!'
8000 miles actually, in 1985 I had a tour of duty based at RAF Port Stanley, 3 years after the conflict. Recently the dependancy has taken the headlines again with the 30th anniversary and Argentina insisting the 'return' of their Malvinas. Please lets hope a 21st war of words remains just words, words that lead to reconciliation there are far too many situations where words have failed.
