20/01/11 'Contrast corner'- Twists & turns, reflections & distortions, eddies & ripples, light & dark. Again from our photo-trek, this image is laden with metaphor, I sit and look at the branches reaching out, networking or the roots of a family tree stripped of their leaves. The mottling sky from white-out through pastel shades to rich indigo. The current, flowing fastest and most turbulent towards me whilst appearing calm, placid and tranquil ahead and behind. Am I but a feather or a rotting leaf swirling in a standing vortice, or am I the man with his camea set to capture moments in life?
Deep or shallow, this is my life synopsis - today!
Thank you so much for you wonderful comments on yesterday's 'battery depleted' photo. - Kerry Nix's Photos
I'd like to share this with you, my photo journal. Each day I'll post an image capturing something I've seen worthy of record. Showing to the World wide web, perhaps even printing to hang on a wall or be used commercially (wishful thinking). Some days I'll draw on shots taken then edited and get creative, others will be straight out of the camera (sooc) If you like what you see please press the green thumb or leave a comment, maybe a suggestion how an image might be improved. You can now purchase prints, merchandise, downloads etc. For further information contact me firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for looking PJN.
